1. As the density is small and the material is light, it is extremely easy to install the GFRP grille in areas with high underground water level, so anti-floating measures such as pier or rainwater runoff dredging must be considered.
2. During the construction of tri-pass on the installed GFRP grille and repair of pipeline cracks, the resin and fiber cloth used in the construction shall be solidified in 7 to 8 hours, which is similar to the completely dry condition in the workshop. However, it is difficult to meet this requirement in the field construction and repair.
3. The existing underground pipeline detection equipment mainly focuses on metal pipeline detection, while the non-metal pipeline detection equipment is expensive. Therefore, the GFRP grille cannot be detected at present after being buried in the ground.
4. GFRP grille has poor uv protection. At present, the surface of the FRP grille can be made into a resin layer of 0.5mm thick and uv absorbent (processed in the factory) to delay the aging time. Over time, the resinous layer and uv absorber are damaged, which affects their life.
